For pete's sake, people.

I started a minute ago with the goal of writing a blog post about how commonplace abuse of certain staff members has become, but now sitting here writing, I'm at a loss for the words to write.

I've recently suspended a couple of members for their actions in regard to certain staff members. All of us are unhappy with the way people are treating one of our staff members. It's going to stop.No more leniency from me in this regard. If you want to trash and attack anyone on the board, a staff member in particular, you're going to suffer the consequences.

It consistently amazes me how angry people get over nothing. That's all this is. Nothing. In 20 years, 10 years, probably 18 months, what consequence will this forum have to your life? Little to none, probably. In the scheme of things, what consequence does it have now? Enough to first of all, break the rules enough to be punished or warned in the first place? No. Certainly not enough to get angry at someone for correcting your mistake. Definitely not enough to warrant the barrage of personal attacks recently directed at us.

So stop it.
