Is it possible for anyone to make a friend codes code where you can add a friend code for a game you want and it shows on the person profile? They can also edit it on their profile. For instance, lets say I go to edit my profile. I click "Update Profile" and underneath "MSN Screen Name" it could say "Wii Code" or "Brawl Code". Just a request. If this is off-topic please either move this to the on-topic forum or delete it please. EDIT: Just so you know I'm talking about Nintendo Wi-Fi Edited by Levus, Apr 10 2008, 10:35 PM.

ZetaBoards already has an option like this built in. Goto: ACP > Users & Groups > Profile Fields For something like you're suggesting, select "1 line text'. Make the Title 'Friend Code' or whatever. The next 3 options are really up to you: On Registration will have this input field shop up when a user registers. Show field in topics will have the code show up in the area where 'What Browser are you using?' shows up to the left of this post. Admin Only Edit allows the user to add text only once, and the admin will only be allowed to change it after that. The last part is how many characters you want the input to be (I think its 12 for friend codes). Then hit submit. You now have an option on your forum under Preferences > User Profile that'll allow you to enter a friend code. |

Sorry for the late reply, but I was wondering. Whenever I move the cursor where I can change the max amount of characters, it varies between 10 to 15. I can't make it 11,12,13,14,16,17,18,etc. Is there a way so I can be extra specific? |

Not that I know of. Send a support ticket or post in feedback. This would be something that could be changed easily. |

If you turn off Javascript you should be able to put in a specific number. I'm not sure if the ACP rounds it off to the nearest 5 or 0 though. |
