I have this code in a web page:
But when I add the code and submit the page, it turns the code into this:
Does anyone know of something I can do to get it to stop changing the \ to a \ or a different way to do the same thing? Edited by simcityfreak4, Aug 25 2008, 05:28 PM.

Currently, the webpages aren't recommended for adding codes on. It changes some HTML used in codes into their character entities (that arrangement of characters and numbers). This is a known bug and until this issue is fixed, some codes may not work when added to webpages (mainly jQuery). If you still need the code on that webpage, you can try externally hosting the code and adding it to that page. If you'd like to try that, but still don't know how, you can use THIS POST for help. |

Actually you could split that into two pieces. One with the variable, and one with the src attribute to the external file. That way you don't need \ |
