It changes some HTML used in codes into their character entities (that arrangement of characters and numbers). This is a known bug and until this issue is fixed, some codes may not work when added to webpages (mainly jQuery). If you still need the code on that webpage, you can try externally hosting the code and adding it to that page. If you'd like to try that, but still don't know how, you can use THIS POST for help.

That way you don't need \
