Root Admin

Firefox 3	Currently I have Admin rights on my board that hasn't had a root admin for two years, I've looked around everywhere to see if i can get it so i can covert it to Zetaboards but I says that I have to get a hold of old Root Admin. He hasn't logged on Wed Jul 18 2007, and he's not even Root anymore... I've owned the board for more than two years now... Is there anyway to get Root Admin without his help?

Firefox 3	I tried doing that.. here are some ideas: Get in touch with the root admin and get his password if you know his password, change his name and password and then you own that account There is no way for a non-root admin to convert the board, or own it. I had a bad experience with a root admin who came back after a year and deleted the board, so in the new board we have a root admin which is not a real person, and all admins know it's password. Just in case.

Internet Explorer 6	if all else fails, maybe you can create a new board and keep the old one as an archived board. I know that will probably mean a hell of a lot of work, but it sounds like you're kind of crippled without at least one accessible person in the root admin position.
