I'm trying to set up a subdomain through FreeDNS, but I'm having problems adding it through the Domain Manager; set up the CNAME like the instructions say, but each time I try, i get this error:

Quote:

Error: The domain you have entered does not appear to point to this server. The domain should point to s1.zetaboards.com with a CNAME record.
Error Code: 50016:29122

I pointed the destination to s1.zetaboards.com like it says, but it's not working. I'm sure many have had this problem, though.

What is the domain you're trying to add? It's possible it will just take time to update before you can add it to your Domain Manager.

I'm trying to add "framed.net", so it'd be http://splawliet.framed.net/.

EDIT: I tried another subdomain and worked, now it's not working at all. I had it all working, but then I added a code in the layout (what the instructions said), and now the subdomained link doesn't work anymore. It comes up saying "Server not found"... Any help?

You can still access the Admin CP by using the original link to your board via address bar. Make sure you put in /admin otherwise it will redirect you to the web page. From there you can access the domain name.

Some of those links on that site has some problems. I had the same problem and I went into the option. Go to the site and login. Go to the options for that URL. Scrolled down and select CNAME (even though you already selected it). Verify that all the link is correct. Then, push submit. Give it about 5-10 minutes to process and try again.
